San Francisco Bay Area used to be known as Silicon Valley. But, now all silicon manufacturing processes have been moved to Korea, China & Malaysia. Now, the bay area is full of innovations. So, let us call it as Innovation Valley
In the whole convention, only three things will make it to the history book. They are:
Michelle Obama and Melania Trump speech
Ted Cruz speech
Donald Trump speech
Is that all? They invested so many resources and billions of dollars. Out of those investment, only three things will make it to the history book.
That's right. All those Twitter trending will last only for that day. You ask anyone about Republican Convention. They will say only these three things. Some may talk about Rudy Giuliani speech; nothing more than that.
Everybody knows about the plagiarism of Melania Trump speech. Nothing more to discuss about it.
You know, this is the first time in the history of United States, a naturalized citizen will be the very first First Lady of United States.
Really! not a citizen born in the American land! Is it allowed in the Constitution? Could Melania Trump, a naturalized citizen become the First Lady? What does it say about First Lady?
In fact, the Constitution says nothing about First Lady. It is not a constitutional title. In fact, in Canada, they did try to adopt this style and call the spouse of the Prime Minister as First Lady of Canada; but that didn't work.
Donald Trump used to call Ted Cruz as Canadian citizen; and Ted Cruz is not legally eligible to become the President of United States. The same may apply for Melania Trump too. Melania may be legally eligible for the title of First Lady.
What will happen if the president is not married or widower?
In those cases, the daughter of the President gets the title as First Lady.
Oh! Then Ivanka Trump could be the official First Lady of United States.
To avoid all these confusions, Karen Pence could get the title of First Lady.
How that is possible? Karen is wife of Mike.
First Lady is not a family title. It is a constitutional title. The First Lady doesn't need to be the wife of the President. Donald Trump is the President. Mike is the Vice President. Karen is the First Lady.
Oh! no!! it is very confusing!
It will be more confusing in Hillary Clinton case. Had it been any other lady, then the husband could become the First Gentleman of United States. But, Bill Clinton still enjoys the title of the President.
It is simple. When Hillary Clinton becomes the President, her daughter, Chelsea Mezvinsky would get the First Lady title.
Why do they give a title as First Lady; Second Lady. What kind of culture it is? Either call Queen or call Mother or Sister. What is this lady?
Lady and Gentleman; there is nothing cultural about it. It is natural. Like Man and Woman. Mother, Sister, Wife, Daughter - those are cultural.
On the other day, the media person asked Donald Trump about his wife. Donald replied, "Melania is a very beautiful and attractive lady. Many men would like to watch her and so on..." As if woman is a commodity.
And, Newt Gingrich also made similar statement about Donald Trump's wife. Newt Gingrich said, Melania is very attractive and intelligent.
Intelligent is okay; but you don't quote other man's wife as attractive. In east, it would have been a disaster. They don't even understand the culture of the east; but they have been trying to solve the problems of the east.
The constitutional title, First Lady doesn't reflect the culture of the nation. Coin a new name; or just go with Spouse of the President.
Let us move on to the next topic, Ted Cruz speech.
That is America. It is possible only in United States. In China or in Russia, you cannot even dream about giving a speech like that. In United Kingdom, they will not create so much noise and will not let you deliver your speech.
In India and other democracy, you could deliver a speech like that; but, then you cannot leave the hall live; the crowd would stab you.
I think, Ted Cruz effect would cause more damage in the forthcoming Democratic Convention. Many Ted Cruz are awaiting for Democratic Convention.
This is democracy. Democracy is not about all saying "YES, YES" always. Democracy is all about freedom. Freedom is all about freedom of speech. Listen and Let others talk. Whether you agree or don't agree; don't ever deny opportunities for others.
If Ted Cruz could deliver a non-acceptable speech in Republican Convention, why not in Democratic Convention.
In that moment, Ted Cruz stopped being the regular politician and became a responsible citizen of United States of America. Ted Cruz action demonstrated to the entire world about democracy.
Democracy is not about preaching; it is all about practicing. Ted Cruz did practice the freedom in democracy and encourage others to practice their freedom of speech; not only in Democratic Convention, but beyond the land of America to the other parts of the world.
In fact, for a change, Ted Cruz became as Donald Trump in that moment. That was the style of Donald Trump; don't be afraid; speck of your mind; don't worry about others accepting your speech; you just speck about the right thing; people may or may not agree with you; but do the right thing.
That was the style of Donald Trump; not being politically correct; just being yourself.
In that moment, Ted Cruz was totally and completely politically incorrect; but Ted Cruz could speck the truth without worrying about the rewards or the punishments.
Why do you say that, that was Donald Trump style? Did Donald Trump change his style?
Yes. Donald Trump is now corrupted by the traditional politicians and by his family. Did you see his old style in his speech in the convention?
Only one short moment. Donald Trump said; those words were coming so naturally out of his heart.
"by the way; you were cheering, when I said, LGBT...."
The rest of his speech was totally and completely politically correct one. Donald Trump already lost his freedom of speech and corrupted by Newt Gingrich, Rudy Giuliani and Mike Pence.
People were coming after Donald Trump for his originality; not for his political correctness.
People would start leave Donald Trump when they start realizing the fact that, he just become another politician; perhaps not a Washington politician; but New York politician.
Coming to the last point...
Ted Cruz is the first one to announce the running mate. Everyone wonders why Ted Cruz did announce Carly Fiorina as his VP.
All these candidates did drop out and endorse Donald Trump. But Ted Cruz didn't.
In fact, their presidential candidate position is still in open status. They didn't withdraw their candidate form from the election agency.
So, in the general election ballot, you will see: Ted Cruz Carly Fiorina
This sounds like Melania Trump repeats after Michelle Obama.
This is bi-partisanship. Both Democrats and Republicans come together and deliver the same message.
Twitter and this digital age is so disruptive. Melania Trump may had spent three weeks time to memorize the speech. In less than 2 hours, people started tweets about plagiarism.
They spent millions of dollars to organize these Convention. In no time, with no investment, the digital organization destroy them.
Perhaps all head of governments may join together and bring a temporary ban for a decade on Mobile devices and whole Internet.
What is this about speech writing. Instead, like movie play back singers, they could have someone read the speech from behind the scene and the person in the stage could just move the mouth to sync with the background speech.
Did John F. Kennedy have speech writer? Who wrote the speech like,
“Ask what you have done for your country, not what your country can do for you”
I think that was his original message came out from his heart.
How about Winston Churchill, Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, Martin Luther King?
Oh! No! are you going to question the Silicon Valley CEO too? They give wonderful presentation. They are all original. They may seek help for spelling and grammar; but not for content.
Bernie Sanders sounds original in his speech. He may refer with his team; but the content is his original.
So, how could Trump make America Great again, if they just follow the same path of Michelle Obama.

Oh! No! Lesley Stahl! She is the best politician. She did give a solid punch on Donald Trump face! She did it with a style; with a smile on her face; he voted for it.
Lesley Stahl was referring to Mike Pence vote on Iraq war.
Obviously, Donald Trump didn't expect this blow.
Mike Pence handled the situation with a smile on his face.
There is one way to unite the GOP.
What is it?
Donald Trump did a mistake. GOP doesn't like Trump; but they do like Pence.
So?
Just switch. Make Mike Pence as the Presidential Candidate.
Then, make Donald Trump as the Vice Presidential Candidate.
Pope would prefer Mike Pence.
Mexico would prefer Mike Pence.
All those drop-out candidates would prefer Mike Pence.
In fact, all those disappointed VP candidates from Sarah Palin to Ben Carson would prefer Mike Pence.
Then, Donald Trump would run as an independent.
Yes. certainly. So, don't give that option to Donald Trump.
Make Donald Trump as the VP.
GOP is greater than any individual. Those seasoned politicians may take this final opportunity and thank Donald Trump for bringing in Mike Pence.
Did you hear the news about terror attack in Bangladesh, Istanbul and Florida.
Yes. I did.
Is there a way, all these terror attacks could be stopped?
No Way!
What! or you serious? People are dying. Innocent people are dying. We should stop it. How could you say, "No Way!"
Don't get emotional. Getting emotional doesn't solve any problem. In fact, it complicates the problem. You need to have a logical understanding of the challenge; the global challenge.
What logical.
Look at the operations. All operations are perfect and deliver the result.
You mean killing? How could you call those killings as operations? Then would you call those suicide bombers as executives?
First of all you need to understand the challenge. Then you could find a solution to solve the problem. To understand the problem, you need to give up emotions and get into logical discussions.
It will be hard. But, let me try to understand your logical explanations.
Good. As you said, suicide bombers are the executives. Terror attacks are operations. Operations are planned in their headquarters. Authority and responsibility are given to global executives. The executives do carry out the operations perfect and they do achieve their results.
In corporate sectors, we do plan global operations. But we never could achieve perfect results.
That's true. In corporate sectors, you give salary, bonus, perks and awards to your executives. Still they don't perform to your expectations. Here they don't get any of those; they get only the death as punishment; still the performance...; it is so sad; but the truth is their performance is excellent.
How could manage their operations at global level?
It is simple. Islamic State is a single organization. They don't have any competition from Al Qaeda, Taliban and so on. It has only Executive Branch. They don't have any Judicial or Legislative Branches.
That's interesting. So, then they don't need to waste their energy in Congress; Bi-partisanship; House of Commons; Parliament. One Executive Branch without the burden of Legislative and Judicial.
Naturally, Islamic State is in a more advantage position. The British Prime Minister had to resign for some political reason. All other Government Executives are burdened with their domestic issues. The Prime Ministers don't even have stability. How could they win the war with Islamic State, then?
So, there is no use of labeling them as terrorists; terror organization; act of terror. It is not going to help. The Islamic State organization is real and does exist. The organization has only one Executive Branch with hierarchical structure. They don't waste their energy in Parliament debate and discussion.
They just plan global operations and execute their plan in the global arena. So, their operations are effective and the team is full of effective executives.
Here, look at all those drop-out presidential candidates. They did try to build a team of effective executives; but failed miserably.
Do you think, Donald Trump plan of banning all Muslims would help?
At least, Donald Trump has a plan. Others don't have any plan.
That's true. Will ban help?
Look at the heading: Ban all Muslim travel to US.
We need to appreciate Donald Trump. He refuse to follow the usual way of Washington politics. All politicians in Washington try to learn about various divisions and their history in the Muslim community. They try to learn the difference between Sunni, Shia and other divisions.
That's a good observation. Yes. Donald Trump didn't say that we will ban the Shia Muslim and will welcome the Sunni. In fact, the Islamic State organization also don't divide the Muslim. They try to unite global Muslim in one organization.
That's right. Islamic State try to build their global empire. Donald Trump try to build wall.
Banning Muslim and building wall is the right strategy to face the challenges of Islamic Empire.
Either build Wall or build Empire.
Banning strangers and building wall would provide you the security. At the same time, you will be locked inside a closed environment.
Locked inside a closed environment would create suffocation and create new problems.
Like what?
You need to ban air travel; sea travel and road travel too. Build wall along the border of United States and Mexico. Then build another wall along the border of United States and Canada.
Then, we would start building wall across California and Oregon and Washington.
Once you start building wall, then you cannot stop it. Right now, when you visit Lake Tahoe, you may see a stop light. This side is California and the other side is Nevada. In fact, one Swimming pool has a line with a mark that this side is California and the other side is Nevada.
It may get worse. The United States started with 13 states and then expanded to 50 states. That distinction is still maintained in the flag. 13 mother states has Stripes and other states have only stars.
So, banning Muslim would end up in banning Californians from entering into Nevada.
Then, Donald Trump idea of banning Muslim would be a disaster.
Yes. Ban and building wall would create more challenges.
But the illegal immigrants challenge from Mexico does exist. No one could deny it.
Is there a way available to solve this crisis without building a wall between US and Mexico?
Why do people cross the border? Mainly for economic reasons. They want to have a better economic life. That is the main reason, immigrants try to come into US in illegal way.
Could we improve the economic condition in Mexico, then there is no need for them to come into US. How could we improve the economic condition in Mexico.
Between Mexico and China, Mexico is our neighbor; China is in Asia. Developing Mexico would help US. So we need to encourage US Enterprises to do business with Mexico rather than China. If US Enterprises need to outsource job, let them very well go to Mexico rather than China.
In that way, economic condition of Mexico would improve and that would help US and other countries in the entire continent of America from Argentina to Canada.
Drug cartel would collapse once you build cartel for Software; cartel for Hardware; cartel for Financial Institutions.
Once the Mexicans get wealth, let them visit San Francisco and enjoy Golden Gate Bridge. Let the tourist operators bring-in tourist visitors legally. Let the railway connect all countries from Canada to Chile.
So, building a wall and banning Muslim or Mexicans is not an American way. Uniting and bringing all human beings together is American way.
Coming back to main topic of discussion, Is there a way out of this Islamic State mess.
Yes. Build Empire. Just follow their way. To counter the challenges of Islamic Empire, let global community build a Global Empire.

The British Empire is still the best model for any empire. It had only one Executive Branch. It did not have the burden of Judicial and Legislative branch.

The British Empire was a working model. The British did succeed in global operations.
Americans way of democracy is total failure in global operations. American didn't establish empire in Japan, Korea and Vietnam. They did try to empower the local with huge responsibilities in Afghanistan and Iraq. American experiment in global democracy is total failure.
Who does want the Legislative Branch? Elections and Legislative Branches in both Afghanistan and Iraq failed miserably. Instead, the President could have appointed a Military Executive as the Governor General of Afghanistan and Iraq.
In Iraq and Afghanistan, they did start with Constitution, Election for Federal Government. The approach was Top-Down. That was a total failure.
Instead, the right approach would be, Bottom-Up.
The US President appoint US Military Executives as Governor General or the President of Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya and Syria.
The Governor General of Afghanistan would appoint Governors for Provincial Government.
Empower the local citizens for Local Administration and their job would be keeping the city clean; sewage and all other low level jobs.
Once the local citizens gain confidence they will ask for freedom and independence. That is how, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Burma and Singapore was built.
That is the way, the Middle East needs to be built.

Robin: Hey Kevin! we are good human beings. Only those characters, Frank and Claire Underwood are bad. We are not bad people. In fact, in those characters too, Claire is a good character. Only you, Frank Underwood; you are the worst one. It is so unfortunate for America that you live in the White House.
Kevin: What is wrong about I living in the White House? Am I not one of the citizens of United States of America. What is bad about it?
Robin: No body likes you, Mr. President, Frank Underwood. No citizens like you. No senators like you. No judges like you.
Kevin: Hey Robin! cool; cool down. I am not talking about Frank Underwood. I am talking about Kevin Spacey.

Kevin: You know, I got a few new offers for TV series. But I said no.
Robin: Why Kevin? Why didn't you accept those offers? Then, what is your plan?
Kevin: White House. I plan to go and live in the White House.
Robin: No Kevin! You need to understand the truth. Once, House of Cards is over, you will no longer be the President and you cannot live in the White House any more. In fact, in the British version, the wife was also part of the conspiracy of the assassination of the Prime Minister. Most probably in few weeks, you will be assassinated and some body will win the election and become the President of the United States.
Kevin: You mean, Donald Trump will be the President of the United States.
Robin: May be. It looks like that is inevitable. 2008 was the best for Hillary. But not now. In 2008, Hillary could have been the President and Obama would have been the VP. In 2016, Obama could have been the President. It would have been a win-win for all Democrats.
Kevin: You're right. You know, I am close to the Clinton family. But I have my doubt about Hillary winning the election.
Robin: Has Bernie dropped out? Then, it will be between Donald Trump and Hillary. Many Republicans don't want to vote for Trump. They may vote for Hillary.
Kevin: The same goes true with Democrats too. Many Democrats don't want to vote for Hillary. I doubt even Obama family would vote for Hillary. They may vote for Hillary for only one reason; that is Trump.
Robin: The reality is worse than our fiction House of Cards. Is there any possibility to stop Donald from going to White House.
Kevin: You know I heard this. After watching our last season, Donald Trump is seriously considering his family member as VP. It may be his wife or his daughter.
Robin: Ivanka as Vice President sounds good. In fact, it is a very good idea. Instead of having old person for VP, it is a good idea to give opportunity to young person. In that way, the VP could learn and be ready for taking larger responsibility as the President. Did we have woman as VP? Then, Ivanka would be the first woman VP.
Kevin: The other day I was discussing with my friends. Joe said that the breakfast rooms in regular hotels are the best place to learn about ordinary citizens perspective on the presidential election. Joe was in the breakfast room of a Holiday Inn and happened to listen to a conversation. The breakfast room is kept open for three hours from 6 to 9 AM and there is a Television with either CNN or Fox News or some local news channels on. Morning news do cover about the presidential election.
In this family, the dad was talking about Donald Trump; the mom was talking about Hillary; the son kept quiet; but the daughter was very loud and persuasive. The daughter was talking about Bernie Sanders. Listening to the daughter, the mom was slowly started inclining toward Bernie. Pretty soon, the daughter would influence the dad too for Bernie. The son may be a tough cookie. Others listening to that young daughter persuasive talk, they may seriously consider Bernie.
Robin: If that's true then Ivanka is the best choice for VP. Now that, Bernie is losing his position, Ivanka is capable of attracting all young supporters of Bernie.
What do you think of Bernie and Trump; they did challenge the establishment.
Kevin: Both did the most challenging job. They did it very well. In fact, I heard that Donald Trump was initially considering running as an Independent. Then Trump asked his team the right question.
Robin: what was it?
Kevin: In 1992, Ross Perot ran as an independent presidential candidate. In 2016, if he runs, will Ross Perot run as an independent? The team said, no. America is still not ready for the experiment of independent presidential candidates. Then Donald decided to run as a Republican presidential candidate.
Robin: I remember watching the first debate. In that debate the moderator asked, would any of you run as an independent if you don't get the nomination. Donald Trump raised his hand and said I will run as an independent.
Kevin: You're right. One good thing about Trump is, he has always been open; in fact, very open. Trump doesn't hide anything inside his heart. Trump did say that he will run as an independent if he doesn't get nomination. Initially, Trump had his doubt about getting nomination. Then after a few debates, he gained confidence and started saying that he will not run as an independent. At the beginning, Trump kept his options open. When things started going in his favor, he gave up the independent candidate option.
Robin: That's right. When ordinary citizens look at Trump, they may feel that Trump speaks the truth and he did keep up his promise of not running as an independent. Will Bernie run as an independent?
Kevin: In Donald Trump case, it was a total miscalculation of the Republican establishment. They thought that they could take advantage of Trump and eliminate Trump with the primary election. But Trump outsmarted the establishment.
Robin: How about Bernie and Democrats establishment?
Kevin: It is a win-win for both Bernie and Democrats. Without Bernie, Hillary alone would have been in the primary election. It would have been boring event. Bernie gave life to Democratic establishment. It is a win for Bernie also. Without establishment, Bernie could not have reached the current position.
Robin: Who does need the establishment? Obama doesn't need the Democratic establishment any more. All former presidents do not need Democratic or Republican establishments.
For Bernie, right now the Democratic establishment is a huge burden and showstopper. If you ask Bernie right now, who is his enemy, Bernie Sanders would not say Hillary or Donald Trump or Republican or even ISIS. The one and only enemy of Bernie is the Democratic establishment.
Kevin: Perhaps, Hillary is the only one needs the Political Establishment. Citizens do not need them; Trump doesn't need them; nobody needs political establishments.
Robin: I am curious. Which establishment George Washington belong to? Was Washington a Democrat or Republican?
Kevin: George Washington was totally against all these establishments. Washington did warn in his farewell address about the evil nature of these political establishments. Both Thomas Jefferson and Alexander Hamilton didn't listen to George Washington.
Robin: It's time to disband all political parties in the US. Political establishments are burden to the democracy system. Political establishments do not have any rights to deny any citizen an opportunity to participate in the presidential election.
In 2008, it was not Obama; it was the Democratic establishment denied Hillary the opportunity to participate in the presidential election. Denying any citizen an opportunity to participate in election - is an unconstitutional action. Let the candidate win or lose; that is not a problem. But denying an opportunity needs to be stopped now. Someone should approach the Supreme Court to get a legal ban on political establishment in US.
Kevin: Perhaps Ben Carson would do it.
Robin: Ben who? Is Ben Carson a NBA player?
Kevin: No. Ben Carson was one of the Republican presidential candidate. Ben Carson couldn't get through the establishment primary and had to drop out. It is so sad that general public have already forgotten all those dropped out leaders.
Robin: So, Ben Carson was forced to leave the platform. Who has any legal authority to deny an opportunity to participate in the presidential election. I think, it is unconstitutional. Ben Carson and all others, along with Bernie need to go to the Supreme Court. In that way, Republicans could re-enter into the race and join hands together to stop Donald Trump.
Kevin: The other day I was having conversation with a Chinese leader. That leader said that they do respect and follow the teachings of one of our founding father; Benjamin Franklin.
Robin: Chinese leaders follow Benjamin Franklin; that is a big surprise. Why do they follow?
Kevin: "A penny saved is a penny earned." In United States, in the name of democracy, all these dropped-out presidential candidates spent millions of dollars. Besides money, these political establishments made the presidential election as a two year event. So much of human resources are wasted as volunteers on these primary form of elimination.
After watching all these presidential political entertainments, people of China have their own doubt on democracy. In China, the government and people do not waste their wealth in political entertainment in the name of democracy.
Robin: That does make sense. One thing is sure. This 2016 Presidential Election is not going to be a usual one. This is going to be a very unusual Presidential Election in the history of United States. What will happen if all three are in the race?
Kevin: That would be good for America. People from both establishment would vote for Bernie. Republicans may prefer Bernie to Trump. Democrats, especially Obama group, they may prefer Bernie to Hillary.
Robin: If you were in the White House, when Bernie came to meet the President, you would have told him, "Bernie, go ahead with your plan. For record, I am going to announce that I endorse Hillary. Then after a week, if you go as an independent, nobody would doubt me. "
Kevin: Oh! my goodness!! Almost everyone becomes a Frank Underwood. It is not good for America. Not good at all.
Robin: Politics is for wise person. In fact, politics is wisdom. Persons who practice the highest form of truth need to be in politics. The other day, Megyn Kelly used the term, George Washington Job. Megyn Kelly said that these candidates are seeking not an ordinary job; they want George Washington Job. So, it is media responsibility to make sure that the best of the best character been elected for the job of the President of United States.
Kevin: In fact, these media persons need to enter into the race. They should run for the job. They know the global politics; global economic and political issues. They stand in the front line whether it is hurricane or it is Syria border. Anderson Cooper, Megyn Kelly and other media persons should be the candidates for the presidential election.
Robin: Media persons are like sports commentator; they are not players. So, media persons could never become an executive in the government.
Kevin: In fact, in sports channels, players, once they retire from active sports, they occupy the position of sports commentators. Here in politics, let it be the other way around. Let them do the job of political critics and then become political leaders. In that way, they will act with greater responsibility and will not make any mistakes.
Robin: So, Kevin, what is your plan after House of Cards?
Kevin: White House.
Robin: Come on, be serious. What do you plan to do after House of Cards.
Kevin: I am going to White House; not as Frank Underwood; but as Kevin Spacey.
Robin: Ok, then, I will also go to White House; not as Claire Underwood; but as Robin Wright.
Kevin: No. That is the worst thing we did. You, as my VP. That is the worst model. I hope, nobody takes it serious and makes his wife or her husband as VP.
Robin: I am not your wife, Kevin. I am Robin Gayle Wright. I am not your wife or your family member. Nobody knows about your family. So, wife as VP doesn't apply in our case.
Kevin: That is a big relief. Thanks.
Robin: Wait. It is not over yet. I am not your VP. If you wish, you could be my VP.
Kevin: It is not fair; not fair at all, Robin. You know it was my idea.
Robin: Kevin, America badly needs a woman president. More over, you have been Speaker, VP and the President. People, now would like to see me as the President.
Kevin: Robin, I am okay with it. Let us go for it. As VP, I will handle the Congress and bring all leaders together for bi-partisanship.
Robin: I don't know about this kind of politics. What is the need for bi-partisanship? Why do we need partisan in our democracy system and in Congress in the first place? We divide people and they try to bring them together. Why? Let us stop dividing people and let us not divide the Congress and the Legislative Branch.
My way is a unique way. You might have seen in Russia. I am not going to learn your way or the usual way of politics. It's time to discontinue with the usual Washington terms and let us start a new modern democracy.
Do we have bi-partisan in the Executive Branch? Do we have bi-partisan in the Judicial Branch? Then why do we need to have bi-partisan in the Legislative Branch?
Kevin: I am with you in this experiment on politics. I enjoy learning this new politics. Let us start the innovation in political system.
Robin: Have you watched the movie, Experimenter.
How many wonderful leaders had been victim of these Primary Elimination process. Nobody questioned the authority of these Republican and Democratic establishments. Almost all try to conform to the pattern designed by the Republican and Democratic establishment authorities.
Kevin: Everyone tries to obey to the authority of Republican and Democratic establishment. Constitution is all about freedom. Republican and Democratic establishment are all about - no freedom; denial of freedom. People just conform and become a slave to the system.
Robin: This conformity cannot continue anymore. Let us bring an end to this unconstitutional authority of the Democratic and Republican establishments. Do you think that we could do this in 2016 itself? Or do we need to wait for another four more years?
Kevin: In other countries, when they announce election, they do have fixed schedule. The last date for filing nominations; last day for withdrawal; then final list of candidates in the ballot is published.
In United States, we don't have any fixed schedule. The election date is the only schedule. It is only June. Still few more months to go. The race is pretty much open. There is still enough time for fresh persons to enter into the race. All they need to do is to make sure that their name is in the ballot in all states.
Robin: Through Netflix, we could take help from Silicon Valley companies to setup our campaign online. In fact, the Silicon Valley CEO could be the presidential candidates. They do global business. They do meet with President and Prime Minister of other countries. They could serve the nation from the White House.
Kevin: They will perhaps in future. Now it is our responsibility to break from the usual way of politics. Right now, we are the most suitable people for the real White House in Washington D.C.
As Frank and Claire Underwood, we had shown the true politics of Washington. We showed the bad, worse, worst and the most ugliest politics of Washington D.C. Now, as Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright, let us show the world the good, the best and wonderful democracy of United States.
Look at Donald Trump or Bernie Sanders or Hillary Clinton. They didn't go through the challenges and sufferings what we had been going through for all four seasons. We, Francis and Claire Underwood the most qualified for the job of the White House.
Robin: That is the best quality of House of Cards. If you take any political series, they make it as a comedy. But House of Cards is not a comedy; it is not a tragedy; it is not a fiction; it is real and it is the truth of American Democracy system.
Learning about the truth of the current democracy is the first half of the revolution. That is what we have accomplished in four seasons of House of Cards. People did learn about American Democracy in House of Cards.
Once you study the health and ill-health of the current system, then you could take corrective action to cure the disease and make our system healthy.
That is the Silicon Valley way of Innovation. We both had been playing the most important role in bringing about this political revolution in United States.
Kevin: American Democracy is not a House of Cards. Other democracy may be House of Cards; but certainly not America.
The Founding Fathers and Mothers of United States of America did build a strong, innovative foundation for Democracy.
Robin: I never heard anybody saying Founding Mothers! Who were the Founding Mothers?
Kevin: A lady asked, "Well, Doctor, what have we got - a Republic or a Monarchy?"
Doctor Benjamin Franklin said, "A Republic, if you can keep it."
That lady did ask the most responsible question. That lady did do her duty as citizen of United States. That lady does qualify to be regarded and to be respected as one of the Founding Mothers of our nation.
Robin: "..., if you can keep it." That would apply for all.
"Republican Party, if you can keep it."
But they did lose it Donald Trump.
Now coming to nation, it is the responsibility of each and every citizens; not only this generation, but also the future generations; it is very true.
"A Republic, if you can keep it."
If you lose, then you no longer have a Democracy system.
Kevin: As Claire and Frank Underwood we had shown the House of Cards side of our Democracy. Now, as Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright, let us show the strength of our Democracy.

Bala: Hello Yashwanth! How are you? How was your day?
Yashwanth: Hello Bala! It was a very busy day. Morning I went to east bay to meet a client. I was driving over the Dumbarton bridge. The traffic was so bad. My side was okay; but the opposite side was bumper to bumper. The whole bridge looked like a parking lot.
Bala: That is because of Facebook office. Facebook is in Menlo Park and most of its employees live in east bay. So, the morning traffic is bad on one direction and the evening traffic is bad on another direction.
Yashwanth: Yes. That is true. On my way back, around noon, both sides of the bridge were normal. Then, from 3 to 7 in the evening, one direction would be heavy traffic and then in the night, the bridge must be empty without any vehicles. Why don't bridge construction companies take everything into consideration when they build these bridges?
Bala: They do. When they build a bridge, the construction companies take the number of vehicles would go across the bridge at any time into consideration and they build the strength of the bridge to hold that many vehicles on it.
Yashwanth: That makes sense for the construction company. Who is responsible for the smooth movement of vehicles on the bridge. Bala: That is transportation authority. It is the responsibility of the county transportation authority.
Yashwanth: Do they take into consideration about vehicle movement on the bridge at different point of time in a day, weekdays traffic, weekend traffic and special event traffic.
Bala: I don't think so. They work on fixed numbers and average of total number of vehicle movement on that bridge. They make a huge assumption that whether it is morning or evening; whether it is weekday or weekend; whether it is special event or no event; they assume that 100 vehicles always move in one direction and 100 vehicles always move in other direction.
Yashwanth: How could they assume like that? That's not a practical thing. Why don't the transportation authority look at the flow of the vehicles first and design the bridge flexible to meet the demands of the road traffic.
Bala: The road traffic is similar to the traffic on the internet. In the beginning, site-builders used to build a web site expecting 100 users per day. When a million users hit the web site, the server couldn't scale and go down.
Yashwanth: [with irritation] what web site traffic. I am expressing concern on road traffic and you compare road traffic with web site traffic. I don't understand. Road traffic is a serious problem. People do suffer with it. How could you bring in topic which is totally irrelevant?
...and this is not the first time. You don't stay focused on current topic of discussion. You bring in other topics into discussion and also you always go way off from the current topic.
Bala: Like what?
Yashwanth: for instance, I told you about my experience in Dumbarton bridge. You may go into Golden Gate, Bay Bridge and all other bridges. Perhaps, you may extend the same problem with highways too.
Bala: That's true, Yash. Whatever you had been through, the same sufferings others may go through on the Golden Gate bridge, Bay Bridge and exactly on highway 101 too.
Yashwanth: That may be true. But if we go off from the current topic of discussion, then we may not find a solution to it. Some time, you go way off from the original topic of discussion.
Bala: Again, like what? Let me know, how far, I go way off from the Dumbarton bridge.
Yashwanth: You go into entire US and then into Europe, Brazil, China, Japan, India and some time, even to other planets. If we go way off from the current topic, then we may go out of focus and couldn't find a solution to solve the Dumbarton traffic problem.
Bala: That is a very good observation. Yash, you're the world and the world is you. That means, whatever the joy or the suffering you have been going through, others also go through almost in the same way in their life.
Yashwanth: So, Dumbarton bridge issue is a global issue. Am I right?
Bala: Absolutely! It is a global issue.
Yashwanth: Well, coming back to the discussion, what were you trying to say about web site traffic? Still, I am not convinced that web site traffic has got anything to do with road traffic. That was all about computers, networks and high-tech. Road traffic is a people problem.
Bala: In fact, web site traffic is also people problem. People would like to know the results of a presidential election. It may cause a huge traffic to the web site and that sudden increase in hits may bring the server down. It is a people problem. People couldn't get information on time. In some emergency situation, information on time may save many lives too.
Yashwanth: But these companies in Silicon Valley solved all those web site traffic problems. People no longer see messages like: server down due to high traffic; sorry for the inconvenience. Please try to access the site after some time.
Bala: That's interesting. How did these Silicon Valley companies solve the web site traffic issue? Did they add additional number of high-computing servers in data centers?
Yashwanth: They did try adding more numbers of high-computing powerful servers; but that didn't help. Most of the time, those high-value resources were idle. They were not scalable to the demand from people living all around the world.
Bala: Then, how did they solve the problem?
Yashwanth: Cloud Computing. It allocates resources such as computing power, managing network traffic based on the demand. As demand increases, the Cloud allocates more resources. When demand decreases, the Cloud recovers its resources. The allocation of resources aren't a fixed one. Dynamically, based on the demand, the resources are allocated and then recovered.
Bala: Perhaps, we offer the same kind of solution to the global city transportation issue.
Yashwanth: What? City Transportation Cloud! I don't believe that you're suggesting a cloud computing platform for city transportation issue.
Bala: Yes. That would be a long term solution for global city transportation issue. But we need to fix the current issue of heavy traffic on one side and light traffic on other side issue.
Yashwanth: Cloud Platform for City Transportation is way beyond my imagination. I don't want to say anything on that wild concept. It may or may not come true. But, I agree on one thing.
Bala: Interesting. What is that thing?
Yashwanth: Dumbarton bridge issue is not only for that bridge; it may be the same for other bridges too.
Bala: That's surprising. I guess this is the first time, we both agree on a thing. Have you gone through the same kind of traffic issue on other bridges too?
Yashwanth: Not same kind of issue; but a solution to it.
Bala: A solution? Did you find a solution to traffic problem? Way too many surprises! What is it?
Yashwanth: The other day, I was driving over the Golden Gate bridge. There I saw, a Road Zipper...
Bala: a Road Zipper! What is it? I never heard of a zipper for a road.
Yashwanth: It's hard to explain. Let me show you the video from YouTube.
Both watched the road zipper video and expressed their surprises.
Then, they talked about its advantages and its limitations.
Yashwanth: Do you agree that this zipper would solve the traffic problems in all bridges and highways?
Bala: How long does it take to move the barriers from one lane to anther lane?
Yashwanth: It may take an hour to move the barrier from one lane to another lane. In Golden Gate bridge, the road zipper moves the barrier two times a day.
Bala: Moving the barrier from one lane to another lane sounds good. Could we do it without the zipper? It looks huge and it may occupy more space in the congested road. On narrow and steep bridges like Dumbarton, it may not work.
Yashwanth: Could we have the barriers as a sliding ones? Just by pulling a lever, could these barriers move from one lane to the next lane without a zipper?
Bala: That is a good idea. It is possible in railway tracks. By pulling a lever, a track could move to the side and make a new lane. It is difficult to make these barriers slide on the surface of the road. We need to build a lot of mechanical equipment under the road surface. Maintenance of those mechanical equipment would be very challenging.
Yashwanth: Do we really need these barriers on the road?
Bala: That is a very good question. In fact, vehicles need smooth road surface for their movement. Vehicles don't need lanes or barriers in the middle. But, drivers do need. Drivers need lanes and drivers need barriers in the middle.
Yashwanth: In my view, if drivers drive their vehicle with great responsibility then we don't need all these physical solid heavy barriers on the middle of the road. Barriers are dead weight on the bridge too. They just occupy space in the middle of the road.
Bala: That's true. If drivers act with great responsibility then we could just have yellow lights on those lanes. Just by switching on, we could shift three lanes on one side and two lanes on the other side. In fact, we could even go to the extreme level such as, one lane on one side and four lanes on the other side.
Yashwanth: Any thing physical has got its own limitations. Even in computers, they couldn't build scalable systems with physical servers. When they introduce virtual machines, then they could build infrastructure with great elasticity.
Bala: Look what, who is now going off the topic from road traffic to virtual machines in the computer system. Virtual lanes are now introduced in sports activities. For swimming events, instead of physical lanes, they have virtual lanes.
Yashwanth: I didn't realize it. It happens naturally. Even in road infrastructure, if we could replace those huge physical barriers with virtual barriers like yellow lights, then we could get lot of flexibility on road infrastructure.
Bala: Drivers may not feel safe in driving a vehicle without any physical barriers in the middle and without any clearly marked lanes on the road surface. Without barriers there may be head-on collision on the bridge. Human drivers tend to go ahead of others and in that effort, they may have head-on collision with others.
Yashwanth: So, the physical barriers were built for bad drivers. In that case, we need to replace current vehicle with self-driving vehicles. Machines do not violate rules. Only human violates rules.
Bala: Self-driving cars. They do the same mistake what Steve Jobs did.
Yashwanth: What mistake did Steve Jobs do? In fact, he transformed the smart phones with his iPhone invention.
Bala: iPhone was like a high-powered sports car with lot of sophistication features. What is the use of such a car, if we don't have modern roadways. iPhone had started to take off only when the service providers start building 4G, LTE and city-wide wi-fi network.
Yashwanth: How does iPhone story relates to self-driving cars.
Bala: self-driving vehicle cannot fit into traditional roadways. They need modern road infrastructure. Self-driving cars are like packets in computer communication networks.
Yashwanth: Then, do you suggest routers, switches, multiplexer and virtual lanes for road transportation.
Bala: Exactly. This modern times need self-driving vehicles and modern road infrastructure with information flowing from Cloud for City Transportation.
Yashwanth: I came across, Vehicle to Vehicle communication protocols and Vehicle to Road Infrastructure protocols.
Bala: For any human problems, we need to have whole perspective. Look at the way, our discussion move from one topic to another.
Yashwanth: We covered physical barriers, road zipper, mechanical movement of lanes, moving yellow lanes, self-driving cars, routers and switches for road transportation and so on.
Bala: The future generation, when they build roadways in other planets, they may start with virtual lanes and virtual barriers with self-driving vehicles for their city transportation.
